Acupuncture & Acupressure

Acupuncture and acupressure are traditional therapies that work with the body’s natural ability to restore balance and wellbeing. Acupuncture uses very fine needles placed at specific points on the body, while acupressure applies gentle, targeted pressure to these points. Both approaches are commonly used to support relaxation, ease muscle tension and discomfort, improve circulation, and promote a greater sense of balance. They may be used as complementary therapies for concerns such as stress, tension headaches, muscular aches, sleep difficulties, digestive discomfort and general fatigue. Treatment is tailored to each person and focuses on supporting the whole body rather than simply addressing individual symptoms.

Cupping

Cupping is a traditional therapy designed to encourage circulation, release muscular tension and support the body’s natural recovery processes. Special cups are placed on the skin, creating gentle suction that lifts the tissues beneath. This can help relax tight muscles, ease stiffness and create a deeply restorative feeling. Cupping may be used as a complementary therapy for muscular tension, back and neck discomfort, restricted movement, stress and general physical fatigue. It is often combined with acupuncture, massage or other holistic therapies to create a personalised treatment. The temporary circular marks that can appear after cupping are a normal result of the treatment and usually fade naturally over several days.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion, often called simply moxa, is another traditional therapy that uses gentle warmth to stimulate specific points on the body and support a sense of balance and wellbeing. It involves carefully warming acupuncture points with moxa stick or loose moxa punk, a preparation made from the mugwort plant. The soothing heat is used to encourage relaxation and support the body’s natural processes. Moxibustion may be incorporated into treatments for muscular tension, stiffness, stress, fatigue and feelings of cold or discomfort. It is often combined with acupuncture to create a deeply warming and restorative treatment tailored to the individual.

Indian Head Massage

Pause, breathe and let the tension melt away. Indian Head Massage is a deeply relaxing treatment rooted in the traditional Indian practice of Ayurveda, focusing on the head, scalp, face, neck, shoulders and upper back. Through rhythmic massage, gentle pressure and acupressure techniques, the treatment helps release accumulated tension and encourages relaxation throughout the body. It may help ease muscular tightness, everyday stress, tension around the head and neck, mental fatigue and feelings of overwhelm. Many people also enjoy it as a way to support restful sleep, improve circulation and leave the scalp, face and mind feeling refreshed and revitalised.

Internal Self-Healing Exercises

Your body has its own wisdom — learn to listen to it. Internal self-healing exercises are gentle practices inspired by Stephen T. Chang, Mantak Chia and other great masters of Oriental Medicine and healing practices, encouraging us to reconnect with the body, breath and our own inner awareness. Rather than relying solely on external intervention, these practices invite you to become an active participant in your own wellbeing through mindful movement, breathing, self-massage and simple techniques such as body tapping and towel rubbing. These exercises can be incorporated into a daily routine to promote relaxation, body awareness, circulation and a greater sense of vitality. They offer a simple way to pause, listen to your body and cultivate a deeper connection with yourself.

Holistic Lifestyle, Naturopathic & Nutritional Consultations

True wellbeing is about creating harmony between your body, mind and everyday life. A holistic approach looks beyond food alone — embracing restorative sleep, mindful movement, emotional balance and habits that support your individual constitution. Naturopathic and nutritional consultations explore how your lifestyle and the foods you choose may influence your energy, digestion and overall wellbeing. This can include learning to eat with the seasons, understanding food energetics and choosing nourishment that is suited to your unique body constitution. I believe in balance rather than restriction — moderation in all things, while still making space for the foods, experiences and pleasures that bring you genuine joy. After all, the joy of living is an essential part of wellbeing. Nourish your body. Balance your life. Enjoy the journey.
